FLY FISHING LAKE EUCUMBENE & JINDABYNE

Eucumbene most  reports have been good with good numbers off fish around seven gates, Rushes, frying pan.
Most fish are taking woolly buggers, Nymphs, Craig’s, fuzzy’s, Mrs Simpson’s there’s a few fishermen coming in saying there’s no fish where they are but then they have been told the fishing was good in the next bay so remember keep moving till you find them.
Overall the fishing is good early mornings late afternoons still getting good reports off rainbows around frying pan, yens bay and Middlingbank .
The fly fishing has been good if you can find the right flies and when you do you will have a good time this fishing can be frustrating at times trying to get the flies right but that’s what it’s all about this will test most fishermen out!!!
Jindabyne has been a little hard at times with all the boats about so if your heading up that way best leaving it till late in the afternoons when thing are quiet over on the west side off the lake is still fishing well around Hay shed bay and hatchery bay woolly buggers, fuzzy’s,Muddler Minnows have been working well late.
In the dry flies Snowy hoppers, Adams, red tags, Humpy’s,
If you are going fishing in the middle of the day try down around the dam wall where the waters are a lot cooler.

Remember the best fishing will be late in the afternoons and it is fishing well.

TANTANGARA,
Reports have been good up in the river most fly fishermen have been getting browns and just a few rainbows but it’s all looking good up that way at the moment the insect hatch has been good and the fish are very active late in the afternoons. Nymph fishing with a strike indicator has been the best way to fish or a Royal wulff and Nymph.
