NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED STILL WAITING FOR RAIN BUT YOU WILL FIND SOME FISH IN THE DEEP POCKETS DOWN AROUND PROVIDENCE.

EUCUMBENE RIVER
If you are heading up that way the best fishing will be around the mouth of the river at the moment the higher you go the less you will see so within a few weeks around Providence will be your best bet!!
Best wets are two bead head nymphs, Brown, Black, Hares ear, If the river is running high Tungsten Nymphs will get you down to the bottom.
Remember Denison is closed you will have to walk to the river from now on.
Upper Eucumbene river is still fishing well with some good reports coming in from Kiandra and Sawyers so if your not after the spawning fish this is the place to go for some dry action and wets.

JINDABYNE RIVER
At the moment there has been no reports of fish running up as yet but I’m sure thing will change after this weekend best bet is to go down stream towards the mouth.
Upper Thredbo is still fishing well up around the ski tube and the village.

ALL OTHER RIVERS
Moonbah still fishing well dry’s and wets
Snowy river can be tricky at times but fishing well below the dam wall try some woolly buggers and nymphs” Remember there some good bass around as well”
Most Monaro streams are fishing well but after all this rain things will be a little harder so wet flies would be your best bet most rivers are running well.

LAKE EUCUMBENE FLY
Most places around Eucumbene have been fishing ok on the flies with Buckenderra and Braemer Bay being the best places.
At Buckenderra ,Mrs Simpsons, Woolly Buggers, Nymphs are the best wet flies
Braemer, Bay Fuzzy Wuzzys, Nymphs, Woolly Buggers, Woolly Worms
Rushes Bay, Nymphs, Mrs Simpsons,
Overall the fly fishing has been ok considering the weather rain snow wind.
Best time have been around 10am to 4pm night time fishing has slowed down a little but still ok

John with a nice brown at Middling bank

JINDABYNE
fishing has slowed right down not many reports coming in so if anyone is going up that way a reports would be good thanks, or if it’s not to hard any caravan park could send us a email??

TANTANGARA
Fishing is still at it’s best up there with good reports coming in from the top end of the lake with good rainbows and browns so if your thinking about fly fishing any lakes this is the one.
Best flies are wets, Woolly Buggers, Nymphs, Muddlers,

TROLLING EUCUMBENE

Trolling has had it’s ups and downs but after all this rain thing have Improved most fishers have been trolling around the gully areas with some good hook ups.
So stay away from the big bays look for the gully areas that’s where all the food is getting washed in.
Best places are Seven gates, Buckenderra over on the other side, Braemer Bay
Best lures, Tassie Devils, Blades, Rapala’s, Minnows
Best times, Early mornings to around 10am if it’s a cloudy day you should be out there most of the day.
Overall the trolling has been good just target the right places you should do good.
Reports have been slow up higher around Anglers Reach and Adaminaby but again after all this rain things will Improve.

BAIT FISHING EUCUMBENE
Bait fishing is still going great with good reports coming from buckenderra, Braemer Bay, Seven Gates, Rushes
Rainbows and browns are still moving around and taking all baits ,Power Bait, Mud Eyes, Worms all bait is going well so where ever you go the bait fishing is good my tip is Middling Bank, Braemer Bay and Buckenderra
Yes we still have mud eyes so if your wanting some you can ring and book them we have plenty!!
