Fly fishing has had it’s ups and downs lately with all the hot weather and water temperature but in the last few weeks things have change with the water Temperature and weather.
Weather has cooled down and water Temp is around 16 Degrees and now we are starting to see more fish moving around.
Rushes Bay and Seven Gates are fishing well with Woolly Buggers, Woolly Worms, Mrs Simpsons, Brown and Black Muddlers, Rainbows and Browns are active early mornings and late afternoons.
Braemer Bay about the same as Seven Gates But reports the rainbows are small
Anglers Reach and Old Adaminaby and higher up are fishing slow so not many reports coming in.
Tantangara lake Things are still going good on the fly with some good results coming from the top end of the lake, Best flies have been Muddlers and Woolly Worms.
