Thredbo river is up and running with all that rain thing can only get better most fishermen are fishing up higher on the Thredbo with good reports coming from the town it’s self and down lower at the diggings the little Thredbo has been good and down around the ski tube.
All rivers will be running a little higher this weekend so don’t put them glow bugs away yet try Paddy corner and down lower there’s still rainbows about remember don’t look for them cast into the runs most fishermen are walking past them!!
EUCUMBENE RIVER
Eucumbene river is running well from top to bottom we are getting good reports off fish up around sawyers and Kiandra.
Remember all rivers are running a little faster the weekend so get them Nymphs down.
TANTANGARA RIVER
Reports were ok with rainbows and brown moving up and down most parts off the river well worth a look this weekend after all that rain.
All other rivers around the snowy mountains are fishing well so now the weather is getting better it’s time to start looking.
Don’t forget the Monaro rivers are all running well and they all should have fish so it’s time to get out there.

Hi Mick,
Popped down on the weekend and ducked out for a fish on sunday arvo at the lake had the whole place to myself. Spotted a big brown taking dragon flies close to the thistles. I tried damsel patterns and a lot of other tricks but, eventually got him to eat a fuzzy he went 57cm one of my best fish from the lake on fly. Pic attached. Lots like you had a good day on the thredbo! Cheers, Marc Howard
