THREDBO RIVER
The river is still looking good and flowing well good reports are coming from  the township Thredbo Village and the ski tube late in the afternoons and early mornings.
Down at paddy’s corner there has been some good results with rainbows and browns. Don’t forget about up around the diggings and the little Thredbo river plenty off little fish but fun.
Best places on the river have been up higher remember the best times are early mornings and late afternoons if you are going out in the middle off the days look for the deeper waters.
Best Dry flies are Stimulators, Royal Humpy’s, Royal Wulffs, Red Tags, Adams
Best wet flies are Nymphs, bead head or std

EUCUMBENE RIVER
Eucumbene river is running well from top to bottom just like the Thredbo we have been getting reports off fishermen not doing so well as i have been saying if your going fishing in the middle off the day it will be tuff you will have more fun and better results in the afternoon and early mornings this is when the fish are more active. We are still getting good reports up higher in the river around Kiandra and down around Sawyers. Trust me you will have a good time everywhere if you fish at the right time and the fish are there small and big.
Don’t forget you have the Murrumbidgee river as well most locals are have a good time.

TANTANGARA
Reports have been good up in the river most fly fishermen have been getting browns and just a few rainbows but it’s all looking good up that way at the moment the insect hatch has been good and the fish are very active late in the afternoons. Nymph fishing with a strike indicator has been the best way to fish or a Royal wulff and Nymph.

FLY FISHING LAKE EUCUMBENE & JINDABYNE
Lake Eucumbene in places has been good Rushes , seven gates , frying pan have been the pick for fly fishing best results have been over at Rushes with fish taking Muddlers and Nymphs and woolly buggers with a med to fast retrieve. I think it’s time to get them fuzzy wuzzys out at night time? still we are getting reports off fish rising late in the afternoon in close and out wide let hope the mudeyes come on soon then things will change for the better. Overall the fishing has been ok but you have to find the right places on the lake as i said Rushes has been the place at the moment.
Best wet flies are Muddlers, woolly buggers , Nymphs but retrieve them a little faster now!
Best dry flies are Stimulators with a buzzer dropper, Caddis,

Lake Jindabyne things are looking good over on the west side off the lake there has been plenty off browns in close and out wide polaroiding around the lake has been great with good results coming in remember early mornings are the best.
Still getting good reports on rainbows in the lake big and small. At the moment Jindy is fishing really well the rainbows are big and fat and the browns are as well.
The lake at the moment if fishing the best I have seen it for some time now and things are only going to get better.

TROLLING LAKE EUCUMBENE AND JINDABYNE
Trolling around Eucumbene has been good with reports off rainbow out wide and browns in close now the festival has finished thing should get back to normal.
Trolling around the deeper parts off the lake after 10am has been the trick for most fishermen and as the day goes by move your way into the shore line.
Up the top end off the lake fishermen have been happy with the trolling and spinning that’s where most off the rainbows have been yes most off them have been small but very fat.
Best lures are Tassies , Rapalas , Blades and sting lures
Tassie 67, 73, 119, y115, y111, y48, y82

Lake Jindabyne
Has been good in places but you must get up early yes before the sun comes up with the days getting warmer the fish are starting to go down deeper as the day goes on so up nice and early.
The rainbows have been good at Jindy with some good reports coming in over the week.
Best places are around church Island , Lion Island , Hayshed bay , Kalkite , Creel bay
Best Lures are stings 24, 25, 3, 5
Tassie y36, 15, 5, y89, y94, 103
Blades Rebel Crick hoppers

BAIT FISHING
Bait fishing Eucumbene has been really good in places Seven gates, Rushes, middlingbank all on worms not many fish have been taking the Power bait at the moment but if the rainbow do come on things will change yes they will come on soon there has been some good reports off rainbows moving around out wide and some have been close with some lucky fishermen getting them. Overall the bait fishing has been good but remember only down at the bottom end off the lake only.
Good reports from the locals up at Tantangara with the bait fishing again all on worms good reports off rainbows and browns but the rainbows would not touch the power bait?
Over at Jindabyne things have been ok on the power bait and worms the best thing about jindy is the rainbows are nice and fat and the browns are full off yabbies and there on the bite.
Overall the bait fishing is good on all lakes.
