HEADLINES 
Please be sure to
carry your PFD & fishing licences as NSW Maritimes are out. Nsw fisheries inspectors are working the Snowy Mountains area during the peak holiday season. So remember if you do not have a current fishing licence and on your person you will be fined. So for the sake of 5 minutes do yourself a favour.

Maritime services are on the lakes, So make sure you water craft are up to par with current safety standards, if you are not sure contact Ph 13 12 56 or website:

LAKE EUCUMBENE FLY FISHING
Mixed reports are coming in good and bad but more good the trick is have the right fly! on you will do ok and fish at the right times.
Best times are 1pm till 3pm, Black Woolly Worms, small Fuzzy’s, Black Nymphs
Afternoons from 6pm till late, Bead head Brown nymphs, Black Muddlers, Black Woolly Buggers, Wind Lane Nymphs and Fuzzy Wuzzy’s
Best places are Middling Bank, Rushes, Frying Pan,
Best retrieve slow
 
Overall the fishing has been good reports small and large fish some poor some healthy.
Best areas fish most gully’s and larger bays and have the wind behind you.
If your fishing with sinking lines go short with the leaders around 5 foot.
 
Other reports up higher around providence have been ok but at night time around the mouth of the river best flies are black woolly worms and black woolly buggers.
 
 
 
 
LAKE JINDABYNE FLY FISHING
fishing at Jindabyne has been doing a lot better this week with some good reports coming from the western side and over at Kalkite mostly rainbows and a few browns.
Best wet  flies have been Mrs Simpsons, Bushy Horror
Best Dries Klink Hammers, Stimulators, Bead Head Nymphs
So if anyone has been fishing up that way a reports would be good thanks!!
 
 
 
TANTANGARA 
Tantangara is still fishing at it’s best the lake is steady and fishing well most reports are coming from the top end of the lake.
Day time fishing best flies are, Woolly Buggers, Bushy Horror, Brown Black Olive Nymphs bead head.
Late afternoon fishing Brown Nymphs, Small Fuzzy’s, Most Woolly Buggers

 

 





FISHING IS AT IT'S BEST ON ALL RIVERS
REMEMBER CATCH AND RELEASE IT’S FUN
FLY FISHING RIVERS

Most rivers are fishing really well but with all this heat thing have changed so pick your streams most off the Monaro stream are a running a little hot so thing are quite but up around the mountains things are going well, Eucumbene, Thredbo are fishing great with all sizes off fish rainbows and browns are all going great. Up at Island Bend the fishing is good with some good browns up higher and rainbows down close to the dam.
Do not forget about all the other small rivers up around Perisher all fishing well.
Best Dry’s are, Klinkhammers, Adams, Nymphs, Royal Wulff, Stimulators, Do not forget about the Eucumbene river up high thing are looking and fishing great.








COOMA MONARO
Most rivers are fishing well these rivers can test the best fly fishers out so if you think you are good enough get out there I’m sure you will be surprised how well they are fishing.

TROLLING LAKE EUCUMBENE JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER
Trolling has been good around Buckenderra, Seven Gates, Rushes, Braemer Bay with some good browns and a few rainbows.
Best times have been early mornings 5am, till 9am, late afternoons from 5pm till dark.
Remember the lake is warming up so go deep stay away form the shore line, If your have trouble getting down into the deeper waters we do have the tassie devils in 26 grams.

Best Lures are, Tassie Devil 13.5 grams 37, 16, 15, 105, KG, 130, 313
20 grams, 48, 29, 121, 96, 4
26 grams, 126, 125, 63, 4, 26
Rapalas, Spotted Dog
Blades, Silver, Gold, Brown
Black Magic Minnows

Trolling flies have been going well late in the afternoons Mrs Simpsons, Bushy Horror and Craig Nightime.

Overall the trolling has been good you just need to be out there at the right time
















BAIT FISHING EUCUMBENE

Bait fishing is still at it's best with good reports coming in from Braemer, Middling Bank, rushes, Anglers Reach, Old Adaminaby and Buckenderra.
Best bait is still mudeye's and worms.
Mudeye's are starting to move and the fish are starting to get active Overall the bait fishing is great.
