Most reports coming in have been ok with the lower end of the lake doing well, Buckenderra, Seven Gates
Over at Buckenderra starting to get reports of fishing moving late in the afternoon with plenty of fish rising, Ants, termites and mudeye’s have been moving late good sign.
At Seven Gates about the same with fish moving late and plenty of fish rising late
If it’s a sunny day go deep with Woolly Buggers or Nymphs count down.
Best flies have been Nymphs and Woolly Buggers, Mrs Simpsons, Fuzzy Wuzzy’s
Overall pic your days cloudy days have been the best and from 6pm into the dark
The lake is rising and the fish are starting to get active
Fly Fishing Jindabyne Lake
It’s been off and on lately but when it’s on it’s been good best bas are on the western side from the boat ramp up to hatchery bay bugger looking for the fish keep casting
Over at Poo bay using a slow sinking line has been working well slap on two woolly buggers move them slow.
The lake is still rising so start fishing the bays.
Fly Fishing Tantangara Lake
The lake is falling but don’t let this lake fool you it’s holds plenty of food and the fish are starting to move close to the banks late in the afternoons
Woolly Buggers, Nymphs, Mrs Simpsons, and at night time Fuzzy Wuzzy’s
Love fishing this lake this time of year worth a fish.
Lake Eucumben Trolling: 30% And Rising
Most reports have been good with the trolling with the lake rising and the grass growing around the edges thing are starting to look good
Buckenderra reports have been on the rise with some good reports on browns and a few rainbows, Best lures are Tassie Devils, Bullet Lures
Seven Gates has been getting the best reports with some good looking brown coming out, Best Lures are Tassie Devils, Bullet lures and Strike Pro Blade and Flatz Minnows and Min Mins.
Braemer Bay has been a little slow but the best reports have been early fishing trolling close to the shore line before daylight and as the sun comes up start moving out into the deeper waters, Best Lures are Strike Pro Flatzs and Blades, Deep diving Min Mins and Bullet Lures
Anglers Reach reports have been slow so if your up that way please send some reports.
Old Adaminaby much the same as Anglers Reach we need reports
So if your heading up this way best reports have been come from the bottom end of the lake well worth it.
Best times have been early mornings till around 10am and from 3pm till dark, Best days have been cloudy days with a little wind.
Lake Jindabyne Trolling: 75% And Rising
Reports have been up and down but Improving with some good reports of large brown and rainbow close to the shore line in the early mornings.
With the lake rising fish are starting to move around close to the shore line so try to get close, Best Lures are Blades, Bullets, Out in the deeper waters Tassie Devils are working great.
Best areas are on the western side of the lake from the boat ramp up to hatchery bay.
If your heading up the lake Kalkite on the western side has been good with Bullet Lures, Blades, Min Mins
Overall the lake has been fishing well with the fish being in great condition well worth the go.
Lake Tantangara Trolling: 25% Falling
Well if your going to fish this lake this is the best time to do so don’t worry about the lake dropping it still fishes well, October, November, December Are the best times to fish up that way.
We have been getting some reports but not many “WHY” well fishers don’t like telling other fishers about it!! Well worth a look
Best Lures are Bullets, Strike Pro Flatz and Tassie Devils
Overall the lakes are looking good with the grass growing and both lake rising and we are starting to see activity on the surface late in the afternoons lot better then last year.
Best tip if you have a boat try spinning towards the edges is working well not many fishers do this give it ago.
Bait Fishing all lakes
Bait fishing has been at its best with worms and power bait doing the job
Don’t forget about the new power bait we have in stock, DK BROWN, AMERICAN, GREEN
Sorry still no Mudeye’s it’s not looking good with all the private Dams being dried up all winter but we are still looking.
Overall the worms are killing it on the browns and rainbows.
