LAKE LEVELS 26/11/2020
EUCUMBENE..... 37% RISING
JINDABYNE...…. 70% RISING

LAKE EUCUMBENE FLY
Well the lake is still fishing well in most places with plenty of rainbows and browns, The insect activity is amazing with the lake still at a good level.
BUCKENDERRA, Fishing at it’s best with the dry flies and nymphs, Best times are early mornings and late afternoons into the dark
Best flies are Dry’s size 16,18,20 most are working just fine, Klinkhammers, Red Tags, Adams, Royal Wulff’s, Midge
Best wet flies are Nymphs Black bead heads and without but go small size 16
Overall Buckenderra is one of the places to fish at the moment.
 
RUSHES BAY, Is fishing outstanding with the dry flies again size matters Size 16,18,20 Fishing at it’s best get out there
 
SEVEN GATES, Is fishing ok best times are late in the afternoons and the wet flies are doing the best
Best flies are Woolly Buggers, Mrs Simpsons, Nymphs, Fuzzy Wuzzy’s
 
OLD ADAMINABY, ANGLERS REACH, Are fishing well on the flies mostly from 7pm into the dark
Best flies are, Nymphs, Woolly Buggers, Muddlers
 
Overall lake Eucumbene is fishing at it’s best I haven’t seen it like this for about 10 years so get up here and enjoy it.
 
 
 
LAKE JINDABYNE FLY
Jindy is starting to fire up again with good results coming from Kalkite, Waste Point, Hatchery Bay and Hay Shed Bay Best fishing is late afternoons.
Best dry’s Klinkhammers, Royal Wulff’s, Stimulaters
Best wet flies Nymphs, Woolly Buggers,
Still not many reports coming from Jindabyne so more reports would be good.
 
 

 

LAKE EUCUMBENE TROLLING
Well from top to the bottom end of the lake has been trolling well good reports from Old Adaminaby down to Buckenderra
With the water covering new ground and the rain still coming down has made things even better
Most Tassie Devils are working well, Minnows Bullets, Strike Pro and Rapalas
Some really good fish have been caught rainbows and browns
At the moment trolling has been good all over, Time to get up here why it’s going good and it looks like it will for some time now.
 
 
LAKE JINDABYNE TROLLING
Not to bad but mostly on the tassie devils and tassie spoons
More reports would be good so if you are up that way drop some in please.
 
Overall Lake Eucumbene has been the place to go trolling is at it’s best
Buckenderra, Rushes, Seven Gates, Old Adaminaby
Jindabyne, Waste Point, Kalkite, Hatchery Bay down to the caravan park

Don’t forget about the new Tassie Spoons most are working well



LAKE EUCUMBENE BAIT FISHING
Bait fishing has been at it’s best with worms being the most popular bait
Over at Buckenderra , Rushys, Seven Gates have been the places to go with some good results coming in.
Over the next few weeks with the lake coming up things are only going to get better
Overall lake Eucumbene has been at it’s best .

Please be sure to
carry your PFD & fishing licences as NSW Maritimes are out. Nsw fisheries inspectors are working the Snowy Mountains area during the peak holiday season. So remember if you do not have a current fishing licence and on your person you will be fined. So for the sake of 5 minutes do yourself a favour.

Maritime services are on the lakes, So make sure you water craft are up to par with current safety standards, if you are not sure contact Ph 13 12 56 or website:
